If you have a welfare concern, you can contact our Welfare Officer, Annabel Gold; Saskia Frisby (slf58[at]cam.ac.uk); your class teacher; or anyone else you feel comfortable speaking to.

Our YouTube channel is packed with videos of balls, formal demonstrations and fun displays. You can also find us on Facebook.

The Scottish Country Dance Database provides written instructions and videos for (almost) all the dances that you will encounter at balls.

The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) is the worldwide governing body of Scottish country dancing. It publishes dances, trains teachers, organises events such as Summer School in St Andrews and Spring Fling, and much more besides.

Our local branch of the RSCDS is the Cambridge and District Branch. The Branch organises its own Beginners'/Intermediate class on Tuesdays and co-organises the Advanced Class on Wednesdays. It also organises evening dances, sometimes jointly with us.

Cambridge Scottish Society is also affiliated to the RSCDS and organises some balls that we attend.

We often enjoy travelling to events organised by the South East Herts Scottish Country Dance Society.

The Oxford and Cambridge Highland Ball is organised by us and by the Oxford University Scottish Dance Society.

The St Andrews Fund provides bursaries for Cambridge-based students wishing to attend Summer School. To find out more, contact Kate (kate@kbgentles.org.uk). It is also possible to apply for RSCDS Scholarships to Summer School and Spring Fling.
